Primotly engineered a fully custom, high-performance e-learning ecosystem for Tigers, a fast-growing digital marketing agency, to drive the expansion and commercialization of their premium educational portfolio. The project was initiated to resolve critical infrastructure bottlenecks within the client's legacy WordPress setup, which lacked the database flexibility and architectural scalability required to support structured, multi-chapter video courses and content bundling. The solution delivered an enterprise-grade web application built from the ground up using the Symfony framework, paired with a comprehensive, bespoke design system. The new platform features a modular, hierarchy-based learning architecture (courses, modules, lessons) alongside a non-technical administrative BackOffice for seamless content publishing. Since launch, the infrastructure has successfully scaled to host 16 comprehensive paid courses, integrated advanced transactional product bundling, and completely eliminated the plugin-dependency risks of off-the-shelf software. This transformation has significantly increased student retention while solidifying Tigers' market position as a premium provider of digital marketing knowledge.
Tigers is a dynamic, high-growth digital marketing agency recognized for delivering top-tier performance marketing, strategy, and social media solutions. In addition to its agency services, Tigers operates a highly successful educational division focused on upskilling marketers and entrepreneurs. Their intellectual property includes widely popular industry publications, such as the Ads Book and Organika Book. As part of their long-term growth strategy, Tigers continuously scales its digital product division, delivering structured knowledge through premium, paid educational video tracks and free thought-leadership material.

Tigers experienced an unprecedented surge in demand for their specialized marketing insights. While their initial educational assets performed exceptionally well, the agency's long-term business strategy relied on transitioning from standalone digital books to complex, multi-tiered online courses. However, attempting to deploy this strategy on their existing WordPress-based platform brought them face-to-face with rigid technical constraints:
The legacy monolithic setup could not naturally support deep content nesting (such as grouping multiple distinct video lessons inside overarching course chapters). Forcing these features into WordPress required heavy reliance on third-party Learning Management System (LMS) plugins, which severely degraded site performance, extended page loading times, and threatened student user retention.
Rigid pre-made templates limited the UX design team, forcing compromises in the layout of the student learning interface and checkout flows. Furthermore, the client had no structural freedom to experiment with complex digital product logic—such as cross-product content bundles, automated access tiers, or hybrid free/paid content ecosystems—without risking code conflicts and breaking live plug-in connections.
Tigers required a dedicated engineering partner capable of moving away from off-the-shelf templates to build a highly optimized, custom application tailored exactly to their scaling digital product lifecycle. Primotly rejected the practice of patching existing template software, choosing instead to design a scalable web application from the ground up. The development strategy prioritized structural freedom, robust data separation, and an uncompromised user experience.
The Symfony Core Foundation: The platform was architected using the Symfony framework. This choice provided a clean, modular backend capable of executing fast database queries and mapping complex relationships between users, purchases, courses, modules, and lessons.
Bespoke Design System and Unified UX: Before writing core backend logic, Primotly's UX/UI designer established a comprehensive, branded design system within Figma. Every interface element (from the frictionless video player dashboard to progress tracking meters) was custom-tailored to reflect Tigers' premium identity, ensuring maximum scannability and cognitive ease for students.
The project was executed using an Agile delivery model structured around two-week sprints. Working as a dedicated team, Primotly managed the end-to-end implementation lifecycle (spanning discovery, interactive prototyping, backend engineering, testing, and system deployment) followed by an active, ongoing infrastructure maintenance engagement.
Replaces fragmented page layouts with an intuitive, structured learning dashboard. Content is organized into a scalable hierarchy of Courses, Modules, and Lessons, providing students with a clear, visible roadmap of their educational progress. This delivers an elite, distraction-free learning experience that directly improves student course completion rates, leading to higher customer satisfaction, positive brand perception, and recurring word-of-mouth referrals.
A customized administrative dashboard designed specifically for Tigers' internal marketing and content teams, allowing non-technical managers to upload videos, organize course chapters, edit text, and publish materials independently.
An agile commercial layer built into the backend database architecture that allows administrators to dynamically group multiple separate courses, lessons, or downloadable materials into unified, promotional bundles.
An optimized, decoupled database architecture that splits content rendering into two distinct streams: a public-facing blog repository for free inbound-marketing material, and an enterprise-grade paywalled vault for paid, multi-chapter educational assets.
The Problem: The client's business growth was directly blocked by WordPress template limitations. Heavy LMS plugins caused unpredictable database lag, restricted the platform's layout flexibility, and created severe security vulnerabilities due to a web of unverified third-party dependencies.
The Solution: Primotly engineered a streamlined, secure application utilizing the Symfony framework. The engineering team designed an independent, highly optimized database schema that maps multi-variable student access tokens and nested chapter relationships natively, entirely bypassing the need for third-party plug-ins.
The Result: stable, rapid page response times and complete creative freedom over data structures — allowing Tigers to smoothly scale their library to 16 comprehensive paid courses with zero system degradation or security risks.
The Problem: Implementing a flexible product-bundle feature—where a user gains access to multiple independent courses through a single transaction—traditionally requires complex database overrides that can cause access tracking errors and break established payment analytics pipelines.
The Solution: Primotly built an abstract relational layer within the Symfony database architecture. Instead of hardcoding product packages, the system treats courses, chapters, and standalone documents as interchangeable content nodes. Bundles are configured as parent nodes that dynamically distribute user-level access permissions across associated sub-nodes upon purchase validation.
The Result: the marketing team can instantly launch, modify, or terminate multi-course promotional bundles via the admin panel, smoothly supporting ongoing sales campaigns with zero risk of access-denial errors for students.
The infrastructure successfully supported the rapid deployment of 16 comprehensive, multi-chapter paid courses, scaling effortlessly alongside Tigers' expanding product line.
Successfully introduced a flexible content-bundling engine, providing direct technical support for advanced promotional models and increasing digital product sales velocity.
The implementation of the custom BackOffice panel completely empowered the internal content team, allowing them to manage, edit, and publish materials independently without recurring engineering interventions.
Bypassing standard WordPress constraints granted the agency total creative freedom over their digital assets, enhancing Tigers' brand perception as an elite digital knowledge provider.
The combination of an optimized Symfony backend and an uncompromised, custom-designed UI resulted in a faster, highly intuitive student learning experience that maximizes user engagement.
